Kirsten Usman, a Wisconsin native and attorney, is the founder and CEO of Planet Protector and the author of the Judge Birdie series. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Aspects of Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami-School of Law.
